The Sree Chitra Enclave, a personal museum  in memory of sree Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma (1912-1991), the last Maharaja of Travancore was established on 12.11.1993 and later it was renovated and opened to the public on 4th july 2007. This museum portrays the historical backdrop of the Travancore Royal Family and showcases their individual tangibles and antiquities. Apart from the chariot used by the Maharaja and Amma Maharani;14 mural paintings done by renowned mural artists of Kerala is exhibited, highlighting the landmarks in the evolution of the Travancore state and its geographical and socio cultural history. Old daily paper footage and deeds depicting occasions are shown here. Sree Chithra Enclave is placed inside the Museum Complex in Trivandrum, Kerala.
